GREENSBORO, N.C. — A second person is facing charges after a man died following an assault in Greensboro, according to Greensboro police.
Eric Dequane Outlaw, 25, was arrested in Roxboro on Monday. He is charged with possession of a firearm by a felon, discharging a weapon into an occupied moving vehicle and possession of a stolen firearm.
A 17-year-old had previously been arrested in connection with the case.
On Sept. 5, officers responded to an aggravated assault on Teague Street.
While police were investigating, the victim, Keith Lamont Edwards, 21, of Durham, died.
In October, the GPD Violent Criminal Apprehension Team arrested a Durham 17-year-old on charges of involuntary manslaughter, shooting into a motor vehicle while in motion and possession of a firearm by a minor.
