WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Two homicide investigations are underway in Winston-Salem Wednesday night.
Winston-Salem police responded to West 23rd and Cherry streets in connection with the first homicide.
Later in the evening, police say another homicide happened on Gilmer Avenue, not far from the scene of the first homicide.
Winston-Salem police have not released any additional details about the cases.
