WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WGHP) — Police are investigating after a man was killed and another was shot late Tuesday night.
According to Winston-Salem Police Department, a little after 11 p.m. they were called to a home on Edgeware Road about a shooting.
At the scene, they found two people who had been shot. Rex Dion Payne, 61, who lived at the home, was dead at the scene. The other victim, a 62-year-old man who also lived at the home, was taken to the hospital.
The investigation is ongoing.
